Daren Nowlan

Daren Nowlan is an experienced security sales engineer and solutions architect with over 14 years of experience in the security industry. Daren has worked with companies such as Morphisec, Optiv Inc, Siemplify, Intel Security, Sayers, BJ's Wholesale Club, Trustwave, and Reflex Security in various technical and sales roles. In their previous roles, they provided pre-sales support, built use-cases for product demonstrations, acted as a liaison between customers and product development, supported sales teams, provided proofs-of-concept, responded to technical requests, and assisted in channel development, among others. Daren also has experience in consultative and customer-facing roles supporting security solutions and resolving security issues.

Daren Nowlan attended the University of New Brunswick from 1992 to 1994, where they studied Computer Science, though they did not obtain a degree. Later on, they obtained several certifications, including Accredited Configuration Engineer (ACE) from Palo Alto Networks in January 2014, FireEye Certified Systems Engineer from FireEye, Inc. in October 2013, RSA Certified SE Professional in Security Analytics from RSA, The Security Division of EMC also in October 2013, and Symantec SSE+ DLP and Symantec SSE+ Mobile Management from Symantec, although the month and year of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
