Joseph Holahan

Joseph T. Holahan is a partner in the firm’s Insurance and Reinsurance Practice and a member of the firm’s Privacy and Data Security Practice. Mr. Holahan advises insurers, reinsurers, producers and third party administrators on a variety of legal matters, including all aspects of regulatory compliance. He has extensive experience in the development and maintenance of captive insurance programs, including formation, licensing, regulation and corporate governance. His experience also includes assisting insurers with mergers and acquisitions; corporate restructuring; assumption reinsurance; portfolio transfers and other transactions. Mr. Holahan regularly advises clients on the drafting and negotiation of reinsurance agreements and development of policy forms.
