Laura Berkman

Laura Berkman currently serves as a Direct Support Professional at Morrison Center of Maine since March 2023, working with adults with handicaps in a residential group home. Laura is also a student at Southern New Hampshire University, where a Bachelor of Science in Criminology was earned in June 2023. Previous roles include Field Underwriter at Equis Financial, Quality Manager and Benefits Specialist at American Income Life Insurance Company, and Reparative Justice Intern at Hardwick Criminal Justice Center. Additionally, Laura contributed to the Vermont State Committee Woman Democratic Caucus and founded the Christian Fellowship Club at Southern New Hampshire University. As a former business owner, Laura bred Havanese puppies from 2001 to 2016.
