David Markman

David Markman is an experienced professional in civil engineering and project management, currently serving as the Department Manager at Morrison Hershfield since January 2020, where responsibilities include technical development, project delivery, project management, and business development. David also holds the position of Team Lead and serves as the 2021 President of the Northern California Chapter of IIBEC. Prior experience includes roles as Associate and Enclosure Engineering Project Manager at KATERRA from March 2018 to January 2020, and as Senior Staff I at Simpson Gumpertz & Heger Inc. for nearly a decade, managing small to medium-sized projects, conducting site visits, and peer reviewing drawings. David earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and completed earlier studies at the College of the Redwoods.
