Sean Dougherty

Sean Dougherty has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2018, they started their professional journey at Colby College, where they served as an Undergraduate Researcher, Undergraduate Teaching Assistant, and later as a Community Advisor until 2019. In 2020, they worked as a Research and Development Intern at re+connect before joining Allen Range Capital as a Summer Associate. In 2021, Sean became a Graduate Researcher in Astronomy at Newcastle University and also served as an REU Summer Researcher at Rochester Institute of Technology. Currently, they work as a Data Scientist at MORSE Corp, starting in April 2023. Sean's experiences encompass research, teaching, customer service, and internships, showcasing their dedication and versatility.

Sean Dougherty completed their high school education at Dover-Sherborn High School from 2013 to 2017, earning a High School Diploma. Subsequently, they attended Colby College from 2017 to 2021, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Physics and Music. In 2019, Sean briefly studied at The University of Edinburgh, focusing on Physics and Music. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in Physics at Newcastle University, expected to be completed in 2023.
