John Atkins

John Atkins is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the mortgage industry and a background in music. Currently serving as Branch Manager at Mortgage Equity Partners since October 2023, John has held various roles, including Outside Sales Manager at GO Mortgage and multiple positions at Finance of America Mortgage LLC, Prospect Mortgage, Gateway Funding, American Home Mortgage, and Columbia National Mortgage, primarily focused on sales and loan origination. In addition to a robust career in finance, John has demonstrated musical versatility as a guitarist since January 1989. John holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of South Carolina, completed in 1992.
