Tim van de Rijdt has extensive work experience in marketing and leadership roles. Tim is currently serving as CMO at Mosa Meat, where they oversee all aspects of marketing, customer experience, and stakeholder relationships. Prior to this, Tim worked as an Advisor at Mosa Meat.

In addition, Tim is a Co-founder and Treasurer at Cellulaire Agricultuur Nederland, which focuses on building a sustainable food system through cellular agriculture. Tim also co-founded Cellular Agriculture Europe, an association that aims to create a more resilient food system. Tim served as the interim President during the association's creation phase.

Before their roles at Mosa Meat and in cellular agriculture, Tim worked at Google for a significant portion of their career. Tim held positions such as Product Marketing Manager, Lead Botanical Analyst, and Associate Product Marketing Manager. Tim played a key role in marketing Google's consumer and business products in the Netherlands, managing campaigns, partnerships, and product launches.

Prior to their tenure at Google, Tim worked at Newcom Research & Consultancy B.V., where they led strategic marketing research projects and provided consulting advice to clients across various industries. Tim started their career at Newcom as a Fieldwork Team member and later became a Researcher.

Outside of their professional career, Tim has also been involved in civic movements. Tim served as a board member at VisieNL, a civic movement focused on creating a sustainable future for the Netherlands. Tim was also the President of Young Humanists, a platform for young people interested in philosophy, science, and social responsibility.

From 2009 to 2019, Tim held various leadership and marketing roles at Google, where they contributed to the growth and success of the company's products. Currently, they are actively involved in the cellular agriculture industry, driving efforts to build a more sustainable and resilient food system.

Tim van de Rijdt holds a diverse education history. Tim completed their Bachelor's degree in VWO (pre-university education) from Zwijsen College from 1994 to 2000. Following this, Tim pursued a Master's degree in Communication Studies from the University of Twente from 2000 to 2005. In 2011, they attended INSEAD, although specific details about their degree and field of study are unavailable.

To supplement their education, Tim obtained a certification titled "Philosophy of Technology and Design: shaping the relations between humans and technologies" from Universiteit Twente in April 2018.
