Landan Seguin has a diverse range of work experience in various research and technical roles.
Landan is currently working at MosaicML as a Research Technical Lead starting from September 2022. Prior to that, they were an AI Research Scientist at MosaicML from July 2021 to September 2022. In this role, they contributed significant features to the Composer library and performed experiments to determine the trade-off between training time and accuracy of deep learning models.
Landan also worked as a Deep Learning Research Scientist at Intel Labs from September 2019 to July 2021. In this position, they researched logit distributions of adversarially robust neural networks, developed a PyTorch codebase for experiments, and conducted experiments to identify key differences between robust and non-robust models.
Before joining Intel Labs, Landan was a Deep Learning Research Assistant at Georgia Tech Machine Learning and Perception Lab from August 2018 to January 2019. Landan also had research internships at MIT Lincoln Laboratory and NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in 2018 and 2017, respectively.
Landan's work experience also includes a role as a Research Assistant at Machine Learning and Perception Lab and a Control Systems Research Assistant at Georgia Tech Systems Research. In the latter role, they filed a patent for a miniature underwater robot, created Arduino programs, designed mounting racks, and used MATLAB to develop a PID controller for an additional motor.
Overall, Landan Seguin has a strong background in deep learning research and has made significant contributions to various projects and experiments.
Landan Seguin earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, with a GPA of 3.76 out of 4.00, from 2015 to 2019.
