Ivan Petrov

Ivan Petrov is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in information technology and project management within governmental and educational institutions. Currently serving as Deputy Chief at the Analytical Center of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia since October 2020, responsibilities include overseeing the entire lifecycle of the Unified Federal Information System for the Agricultural Sector, conducting audits, developing technical documentation, and implementing automation solutions. Simultaneously, Ivan holds the position of Chief Digital Transformation Officer at Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography, focusing on carbon polygon projects and innovative technologies such as drones and AI. Previously, from 2015 to 2020, Ivan served as Chief Information Officer at the Forestry Department of the Russian Ministry of Defense, with a career beginning in the private sector in November 2002. Ivan holds multiple degrees in information technology and economics, including a PhD in economics related to AI in ecology from Moscow State Technical University.
