Arindam Chakraborty

Arindam Chakraborty has a diverse work experience in various technical sales and support roles. Arindam currently works for Motion Asia Pacific as a Technical Sales & Support representative for the Power Transmission division. In this role, they are responsible for industrial power transmission, technical consultation, and brand/product selection for clients in New South Wales.

Prior to this, Arindam worked at Acoem Australasia as a Technical Sales Specialist for Reliability Solutions. Arindam was responsible for product selection, demonstration, and training on industrial condition monitoring and preventive maintenance in New South Wales, Queensland, and New Zealand.

Before joining Acoem Australasia, Arindam worked at NSK as an Application Engineer in Queensland. Arindam handled sales and technical assistance for NSK bearings in various industries, including new product launches and installation support.

Arindam also has experience in the mining industry, having worked at Michelin as an Area Mining Specialist. In this role, they managed accounts for Queensland coal mines and conducted tire selection and performance comparisons.

Additionally, Arindam has experience in the marine industry, having worked at JOPCA Marine Services and Yanmar Asia Corporation. At JOPCA Marine Services, they led the technical department for marine engine repairs across Southeast Asia. At Yanmar Asia Corporation, they worked as a Sales & Marketing Engineer for large marine engines, focusing on quality control and troubleshooting of remote-control systems.

Arindam's early career includes working at TECO Electric & Machinery as an Engineer for motors and drives. In this role, they attended to inquiries for projects in the South Asian region.

Arindam Chakraborty completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from EU Business School from 2005 to 2007. Prior to their MBA, they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Dibrugarh University and Jorhat Engineering College from 2000 to 2004. Additionally, they obtained their Bachelor's in Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Dibrugarh University in the same time period.

In terms of certifications, Arindam Chakraborty received several qualifications. In 2023, they obtained certifications in "Introduction to Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing" and "Technical Product Management" from LinkedIn.
