Mechanical Engineer - Western Australia at Motion Asia Pacific

Harrison Hart has an extensive work experience in various roles. Harrison started as a Landscape Labourer at Paperbark Landscapes in November 2014, where they performed a range of hard and soft landscaping duties, exhibited a strong work ethic, and showed initiative. In February 2014, they joined NumberWorks'nWords as a Math Tutor, teaching mathematics to K-10 students, communicating with students, and preparing lesson plans.

In December 2015, Harrison embarked on an Undergraduate Engineering Cadetship, where their team designed, manufactured, and commissioned a gearbox load testing rig capable of simulating real-world conditions and logging vital gearbox data. This project exposed him to mechanical design, fabrication, and project management.

Harrison then moved on to Motion Asia Pacific, where they held two roles. From July 2016 to July 2017, they served as a Mechanical Engineer at the Head Office Workshop (Chullora) and was responsible for designing one-off special manufactured goods, drafting components using Solidworks, and organizing and supervising site-based maintenance programs.

Harrison's most recent role at Motion Asia Pacific (starting in August 2017) is as a Mechanical Engineer in Western Australia. In this position, they serve as a Balanced Machine Application Specialist, Conveyor Pulley Application Specialist, and is involved in design and drafting, on-site services like inspection and routine maintenance, machine alignment, and condition monitoring through vibration data collection and analysis, oil analysis, and installation.

Harrison Hart obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wollongong. Harrison attended the university from 2013 to 2016. Additionally, they have acquired various certifications including "Enter and Work in Confined Spaces" and "Work Safely at Heights" from Nara Training & Assessing RTO 4518 in October 2018. In June 2018, they also earned a "Shaft Alignment Certification - Level 1" from Turvac Incorporated. Furthermore, they obtained a "Certified Vibration Analyst - Category I" certification from Mobius Institute in September 2018.
