Danijel Maricic

Danijel Maricic is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in image quality analysis, perception systems, and electrical engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer at Motional, Danijel focuses on image quality analysis and has developed an end-to-end signal gain model for vision systems. Prior roles include Senior Engineer positions at DEKA Research & Development, where Danijel integrated perception systems for autonomous delivery robots, and at Amazon, contributing to advanced projects for Amazon Go. Danijel's background also encompasses significant work in electrical systems at Onto Innovation and GE Research, where projects involved simulations for power electronics. Danijel holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Rochester, complemented by an MS from the same institution and additional qualifications from the University of Waterloo and the University of Belgrade.
