Shawn McCarthy

Shawn McCarthy has extensive experience at Motorola Mobility, currently serving as the Director of Global Product Development since April 2015, where responsibilities include originating the 312 Labs’ Technology Roadmap process, engaging with innovative suppliers, and mentoring category leaders. Previously, McCarthy held the role of Director of Advanced Materials and Finishes, leading a team to develop critical hardware components, and served in various positions from Procurement Specialist to Quality Engineer, where skills in cost negotiation, technology approval, and quality assurance were developed. McCarthy holds a Master of Science in Polymer/Plastics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, earned in 2002.
