Margot Foster Am Oly

Margot Foster AM OLY has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and organizations. In 1985, they began their involvement with the Australian Olympic Committee, serving as a committee member and former President of the Olympians Club of Victoria. ✦ Margot founded Talk the Talk Consulting in 2016, providing boardroom and governance services, director training, leadership training, and dispute resolution. Margot has also held various roles in sports organizations, such as serving as the Chairman of the World Athletics Election Oversight Panel and the Director and Vice President of Motorsport Australia. ✦ Margot has been involved in other positions, including as a member of the NST Member Selection Advisory Committee, Director at The Lyceum Club Melbourne, and Adviser on the Club Respect Panel of Expertise. Additionally, they attended the Australian Institute of Company Directors from 2005 to 2014, where they completed the Company Directors' course & Chairmen's course in the field of Governance and Leadership. Foster completed their high school education at Presbyterian Ladies' College Melbourne, receiving their HSC in 1975.
