Seyed Saeid Masoumzadeh

Seyed Saeid Masoumzadeh has a strong background in data science and machine learning. Their most recent position was as a Lead Machine Learning Engineer at Motorway. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Ankorstore, where they played a key role in developing and optimizing retrieval systems using deep learning and NLP approaches. Seyed Saeid also actively participated in the ML-Ops process and integrated these systems into Ankorstore's platform. Before joining Ankorstore, Seyed Saeid Masoumzadeh worked at Lyst as a Senior Data Scientist, where they significantly improved the company's search and discovery capabilities using advanced data science techniques. Seyed Saeid also provided leadership and mentorship to the data science team. Prior to these roles, they co-founded and served as CTO of Cyra, where they developed the technology strategy and oversaw the product development lifecycle. Seyed Saeid completed the Entrepreneur-in-Residence program at Entrepreneur First and founded Cyra during that time. Seyed Saeid Masoumzadeh's academic experience includes working as a PhD researcher at the University of Vienna, where they focused on optimizing energy usage in cloud data centers using reinforcement learning algorithms. Seyed Saeid also worked as a visiting researcher at Umeå University. Seyed Saeid Masoumzadeh has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Computer Science from the University of Vienna, obtained between 2012 and 2017. Before that, they completed a Master of Science degree in Artificial Intelligence at the Islamic Azad University from 2006 to 2009. Their undergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Hardware from the Islamic Azad University from 1999 to 2004. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in areas such as LLM Application Development, Generative AI with Large Language Models, Machine Learning for Data Analysis, and Cloud Computing Applications.
