Shona Morgan

Shona Morgan is a highly experienced professional in event operations and project management, currently serving as the Principal Account Lead for the North of Scotland at Mott MacDonald since October 2022. Previous roles include Senior Associate - Advisory, Event Operations Manager for the Queen’s Baton Relay at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, and Senior Logistics and Transport Manager for EXPO2020 with David Atkins Enterprises. Shona has also held significant positions with the Dubai Future Foundation, overseeing the FIRST Global World Challenge 2019, and served as Senior Portfolio Manager for the Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi 2019. With a strong background in managing large-scale events, including the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games and the London 2012 Olympics, Shona's expertise spans various facets of logistics and operations management. Shona holds an MEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde and has received education from Universitat Politècnica de València and Culloden Academy.
