Samantha Richardson

Samantha Richardson is an experienced horticulture professional with a strong background in management, education, and environmental preservation. Currently serving as the Manager of Horticulture Records at Mount Auburn Cemetery since March 2019, Samantha has developed interactive garden maps and streamlined digital data collection processes. Previously, as the Director of Horticulture at Greater Newark Conservancy from April 2015 to March 2019, responsibilities included overseeing budgets and staff while creating educational programming for adults. Earlier roles as a Naturalist with New Jersey Audubon and in various horticulture positions showcased expertise in hands-on environmental education and native plant studies. Samantha holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Planning and Design from Rutgers University–New Brunswick.
