Karthik Ramachandran

Karthik Ramachandran has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Karthik is currently working as the Chief Technology Officer at Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida since January 2023. Before that, they served as the Vice President of IT Administration & Value Management at Beth Israel Lahey Health from May 2022 to January 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Managing Director and Head of Product Hosting at Emergent Holdings from September 2017 to May 2022.

Karthik has also worked at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin as the Vice President of Information Management Systems for a short period from June 2017 to September 2017. From January 2015 to June 2017, they worked as the Director of Systems Development at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.

Earlier in their career, Karthik worked at Sparrow Health System in various leadership roles. Karthik served as the Director of Enterprise Applications and Architecture from January 2013 to January 2015, and previously as the Director of Technical Services and Architecture from October 2009 to January 2013.

Before joining Sparrow Health System, Karthik worked at Oracle as a Technical Manager in Advanced Technology Services from March 2000 to October 2009. Karthik started their career as a Systems Analyst at Compuware from June 1998 to March 2000.

Karthik's early work experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at Wayne State University from March 1996 to June 1998. Karthik began their career as an Assistant Engineer at India Pistons Ltd from September 1991 to March 1996.

Karthik Ramachandran holds an MBA in Business - Strategy from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business, completed between 2009 and 2011. Karthik also has an MS in Computer Science from Wayne State University, earned from 1996 to 1998. Karthik's undergraduate degree is a BE in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Madras, which they obtained from 1987 to 1991. Additionally, they have received several certifications, including CCSFP from HITRUST in 2018, Certified Healthcare Insurance Executive from America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) in 2017, Certified Healthcare Chief Information Officer (CHCIO) from CHIME in 2012, and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications for which the year of obtaining is unknown.
