Julie Borchers

Julie Borchers currently serves as an Adjunct Instructor at Mount Vernon Nazarene University since December 2022 and holds the position of Special Education Director at Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center, a role commenced in August 2021. Additionally, Julie has been an Educational Parent Surrogate for the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce since August 2020 and previously contributed as a Special Education Assistant Coordinator for Stride, Inc. Moreover, Julie has extensive experience in student services, having worked as the Assistant Director of Student Services for the Knox County Educational Service Center and as a Member Services representative at The Y (YMCA). Julie's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from The University of Toledo, a Master's degree from Mount Vernon Nazarene University, and ongoing doctoral studies in Special Education at American College of Education.
