Ellen Schaeffer has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Ellen currently serves as the Head of Customer Success at Mount since 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Illustrator/Graphic Designer as a freelancer since 2010. Ellen also held the position of Head of Customer Success at DACK, Inc. from November 2021 to December 2022, where they played a key role in developing customer success strategies and establishing the company's position in the hospitality technology landscape. Ellen is also the Founder/Creative Director of Persistent Sisters, which focuses on creating women's history trading cards. Ellen held this role from March 2017 to July 2022, and their trading cards were sold online and in renowned museum stores nationwide. Furthermore, they worked as the Marketing and Customer Experience Manager for Sarah Bernard Chalets from February 2020 to November 2021. Prior to that, Ellen worked as a Community Relations Specialist for the Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland from October 2018 to February 2020. Ellen also has experience as the Owner, Teacher, and Event Planner at the St. Louis Craft Room from September 2014 to February 2020. Additionally, Ellen served as the Executive Director of the Springfield Program for Public Art from August 1998 to September 2001. Ellen began their career as a Scenic Artist, working for Missouri State University from May 1997 to August 1998, and as a freelance Scenic Artist from May 1993 to May 1995.
Ellen Schaeffer attended Rosati Kain High School from 1985 to 1989, where they did not obtain a degree or specialize in any specific field of study. Later, from 1989 to 1993, they pursued their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Theatre Design and Technology/Set and Lighting at DePaul University.
