Luke Cartin serves as the Director of Lands and Sustainability at Park City Municipal Corporation since August 2016 and is a co-founder of MountainTowns2030, a coalition aimed at reducing carbon emissions in mountain towns by 2030, established in May 2019. Prior to these roles, Luke held various positions at Vail Resorts from November 2001 to August 2016, culminating in the role of Regional Environmental Sustainability and Compliance Manager. Luke’s early career includes serving as the Director of the Pack Forest Teenage Ecology Workshop with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation from June 2000 to August 2002. Luke earned a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Resource and Forest Engineering from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry between 1997 and 2001.
