Sarah Hughen

Sarah Hughen is an accomplished professional with diverse experience in both entrepreneurship and community engagement. As the Founder of Sea State since May 2013, Sarah has developed innovative study abroad programs focused on cultural immersion and environmental stewardship. In addition, Sarah has served as a Real Estate Agent at Altitude Real Estate, LLC. since June 2021 and has been the San Diego Host for Mountainfilm on Tour since May 2019, promoting social and environmental awareness through documentary films. As the Director and Co-Founder of Foster the Earth, established in January 2017, Sarah actively supports outdoor experiences for underserved youth in the foster care system. Furthermore, Sarah is a freelance photographer since 2000. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Photography from Montana State University-Bozeman and study at the University of Stirling.
