Valerie Allusson MD CHCQM MMM CPE FACP SFHM has a diverse and extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Valerie started their career at Maimonides Medical Center in 2000 as the Clinical Director of Internal Medicine residency. In 2005, they joined Morristown Memorial Hospital, where they served as the Medical Director of the Hospitalist program and Division Chief of Hospital Medicine. Valerie also held the role of Medical Director PA during their time at Morristown Memorial Hospital.

In 2013, Valerie Allusson moved to Penn Medicine Princeton Health, where they became the Medical Director of the Hospitalist Program and the Division Chief of Hospital Medicine. Valerie worked there until 2014 when they joined Hackensack Meridian Health as the Chief of Medicine and Director of the Hospitalist Program at Mountainside Hospital. Valerie later became the Chief Medical Officer at Mountainside Hospital and, in December 2019, took on the role of Vice Chair of the Medical School for the Northern Region at Hackensack Meridian Health.

In 2017, Valerie Allusson started working at Mountainside Medical Center as the Chief Medical Officer. Valerie also held the position of Chief Quality Officer starting in March 2019. With their vast knowledge and experience in healthcare management, Valerie Allusson has made significant contributions to the organizations they have worked for throughout their career.

Valerie Allusson MD CHCQM MMM CPE FACP SFHM completed their medical education at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, earning a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from 1997 to 2000. Prior to that, they obtained an MD degree in Medicine from the University of Medicine Paris South from 1991 to 1993. Valerie has also acquired additional certifications including a Certified Physician Executive (CPE) from the American Association for Physician Leadership®, a Diplomate of American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians from the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians (ABQAURP), and a Master in Medical Management from Carnegie Mellon University - Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy. Additionally, they earned a Diplomate of Internal Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine and pursued studies in Medical Humanities at Drew University.
