Milliejoan Mongalo, MD, currently serves as a Medical Resident at MountainView Hospital since July 2022. Prior experience includes a Graduate Assistantship in Clinical Research at Robert C. Byrd Clinic from September 2016 to May 2018, where responsibilities involved conducting clinical trials and enrolling patients. Milliejoan also worked as a Biology Lab Assistant at Chaminade University of Honolulu from August 2012 to May 2016, ensuring laboratory safety and preparing materials for labs. Additionally, Milliejoan held the role of Peer Minister, focusing on community outreach and organizing school retreats. An internship at the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases in the Diabetes Molecular Genetics Section occurred in the summer of 2015, as part of the Diversity Summer Research Training Program. Education includes an MD from UAG School of Medicine (2018-2022), a Master's in Clinical and Translational Science from Marshall University (2016-2018), and a Bachelor's in Psychology with a minor in Biology from Chaminade University of Honolulu (2012-2016).
