Carlos Cucalon has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Carlos started their career at JPMorgan Chase as a Relief Unit Manager, where they communicated goals and performance standards, provided training and support to bankers, and resolved customer issues. Carlos then worked at Enlightenment Design as a Lead Designer, responsible for leading design projects. Later, they joined Informa Exhibitions U.S. Construction and Real Estate as a Front-End Web Developer, creating JavaScript and HTML/CSS layouts and collaborating with Back End Developers. Carlos also worked at Republic National Distributing Company as a SharePoint Designer and at The University of Texas at Arlington as an Adjunct Assistant Professor, where they developed course material, facilitated classroom learning, and conducted assessments. Currently, they are at Mouser Electronics, holding the roles of Software Development Team Lead and Lead Developer, where they support and mentors team members, monitors project progress, and contributes to software development tasks.
Carlos Cucalon obtained their Associate of Arts (AA) degree from Tarrant County College from 2004 to 2011. Carlos then attended The University of Texas at Arlington from 2010 to 2012, where they earned a degree in Communication Design with a focus on Human Computer Interaction. During the same period, they also pursued a Minor in Business Administration from The University of Texas at Arlington - College of Business.
In 2020, Carlos Cucalon enrolled in The University of Texas at Arlington - College of Business once again, this time to pursue a Master's degree in Management Information Systems, General. Carlos completed their Master's degree in 2022.
In terms of additional certifications, Carlos Cucalon obtained several certifications from LinkedIn. In August 2020, they completed certifications in "Learning GitHub," "Learning Python," and "Programming Foundations: Fundamentals." In September 2020, they obtained a certification in "Statistics Foundations: 1." Finally, in December 2020, they earned a certification in "UX Design: 3 Creating Personas."
