Principal System Engineer at Movandi

Farhad Razavi has been in the engineering field since 1997. Farhad obtained their BSc in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, where they were part of a team that designed a GSM high power amplifier for mobile communication. After that, they obtained their MSc in Electrical Engineering from University of Tehran, where they designed a patch array antenna receiving and transmitting system on a cylindrical surface. From 2005 to 2010, they worked as an Electrical Engineer at Shocking Technologies Inc., where they simulated and measured the effects of ESD on RF Switches, Amplifiers and Receivers. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as a Sr. Staff Eng. at MFLEX, where they designed and analyzed wireless charging circuits, RF spiral inductors, antennas and circuit boards. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as a Sr. Staff System Engineer at MaxLinear, where they performed all aspects of system engineering on variety of different products. Currently, they are working as a Principal System Engineer at Movandi, and will be an Instructor at UCI Master of Engineering starting in 2022.

Farhad Razavi obtained a PhD in Physical & Wave Electronics, Communication from the University of California, Los Angeles between 2005 and 2010.
