K.T Magwenzi

K.T. Magwenzi has extensive work experience in the field of information security and cybersecurity. They started their career as a Network Technician at Central Computing Services, Ministry of ICT in 2015. After that, they worked as a Cybersecurity Engineer at Afrimoola (Pty) Ltd. from August 2017 to December 2019. Subsequently, they took on the role of an Information Security Officer at Afrimoola (Pty) Ltd. from January 2020 to March 2022. In April 2022, they joined Moyo as a Cybersecurity Consultant. Currently, K.T. Magwenzi works as an Information Security Architect (Architekt für Informationssicherheit) at movingimage since September 2022.

K.T Magwenzi attended Midlands State University from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Honors degree in Telecommunications.

They have also obtained several additional certifications, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations 2021 Certified Associate from Oracle in September 2021, ADPO ORDINARY from the Association of Data Protection Officers, Ireland, Irish Computer Society Associate from the Irish Computer Society, and itSMF Certified Member from itSMF Ireland, all attained in July 2021.

In 2022, K.T Magwenzi obtained certifications such as ISO/IEC 27005 Lead Risk Manager from PECB in November, ISO 21502 Lead Project Manager from PECB in October, ISO/IEC 27002 Lead Manager from PECB in August, and Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate from Microsoft in January.

The certifications continued in 2021 with Certified Trainer from PECB in December and ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer from PECB in December. In 2022, they obtained Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate and Microsoft Certified: Information Protection Administrator Associate from Microsoft in June.

In 2023, K.T Magwenzi achieved certifications such as OneTrust Certified GRC Professional from OneTrust in May, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate from Microsoft in April, and Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert from Microsoft in March. They also obtained the Mimecast Certified: Secure Email Gateway - Level 1 Warrior Certification from Mimecast in March 2022, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure 2021 Architect Associate from Oracle in November 2021.
