Carole Gammarino, RHIT

Carole Gammarino, RHIT has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Carole began their career in 1996 as an Interim Director of the Medical Records Department at DC General Hospital. In 2000, they joined MediHealth Outsourcing as the Corporate Director of Outsourcing Services. Later in 2000, they moved to Precyse Solutions as a Corporate Recruiter and Professional Services Consultant, eventually becoming the Director of HIM Recruiting Services. In 2010, they joined Conifer Health Solutions as a Sr.Recruiting-Talent Acquisition Specialist for HIM and Revenue Integrity Recruiting Services, and later held the roles of Coding Operations Manager, Manager of Coding Operations, and Director of Recruiting/HIM Revenue Cycle Solutions. In 2019, they joined Health Information Alliance, Inc. as the Associate Director of Operations. In 2020, they moved to Star-Med, LLC as the Vice President of Human Resources, Business Development and Client Success. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Moxe as the Manager of Customer Success.

Carole Gammarino, RHIT has an education history that includes a Bachelor of Music (BM) degree in Opera/Performing Arts from The University of the Arts from 1982 to 1987, a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Music from Philadelphia College of Arts from 1983 to 1987, and a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) degree from Gwynedd Mercy University in 1998. Carole also completed a Health Information Management Program at Gwynedd Mercy University. In addition, they hold certifications from AHIMA for RHIT and Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT).
