Alexander Sapountzis

Alexander Sapountzis has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Alexander currently works as a Web Engineer at mParticle, starting in April 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Wayward Raven Media as a Co-Founder, Illustrator, and Techie, where they were responsible for creating and maintaining a webcomic platform, producing comic-book assets, and developing submission materials for pitches and considerations. From 2018 to 2019, Alexander worked as a Software Engineer at Stashable. Alexander also has experience as a Software Engineer at HuffPost, where they collaborated with design and product teams, developed consumer-facing features, and implemented AMP on HuffPost's rich media content. Before that, they worked as a Front-End Web Developer and Integration Engineer at CBS Local and as a WordPress Developer and Editorial Technologist at Bloomberg. Alexander also worked at BusinessWeek as an Editorial Support and Developer. Alexander has previous experience as a Webmaster/Consultant at Dewey Does Foundation and as a Web Design and Development professional at Bardini Models/The Vasey Show. Alexander'searliest work experience was as a Support Specialist at Roark Management, where they provided IT support and managed technology resources for various clients.

Alexander Sapountzis obtained an Associate's degree in Computer Science from New York City College of Technology between 1998 and 2002. Later, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science at Pace University from 2007 to 2008.
