Alison Cerezo

Alison Cerezo is an Associate Professor at UC Santa Barbara since July 2018, focusing on Counseling, Clinical, and School Psychology, and serves as the Principal Investigator of the Social and Health Equity Lab. In September 2023, Alison took on the role of Head of Research & Health Equity at mpathic, where the emphasis lies on leveraging ML/AI technology to enhance health equity. Additionally, since January 2022, Alison has been the Lead Strategy Evaluator and Principal Investigator for the LGBTQ Health Equity Initiative at the California Department of Public Health, which aims to address health disparities among LGBT women and non-binary individuals in California. Prior to these positions, Alison was an Associate Professor in the Department of Counseling at San Francisco State University from August 2013 to June 2018. Alison holds a PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Oregon.
