Nishatur Rahman

Nishatur Rahman has extensive experience in the power generation industry, currently serving as an Auxiliary Plant Operator at NAES Corporation's Newark Energy Center since April 2014. Responsibilities include assisting in the start-up, shut-down, and normal operations of power plant systems while executing orders from the Control Room Operator and operation manager. Prior to this role, Nishatur worked as a Plant Chemist at 450 MW CCGT Meghnaghat Power Limited from July 2006 to October 2008, where responsibilities included overseeing all plant chemistry duties and maintaining process control of water treatment and sewage systems. Nishatur holds a Master of Science in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Rajshahi University, Bangladesh, completed between 1981 and 1985.
