Mridul Chowdhury

CEO and Founder at mPower

Mridul Chowdhury has an extensive work experience spanning over several organizations. Mridul started their career as a Research Fellow at the Harvard Center for International Development in 2001. Later, they worked as an e-Governance Consultant at the Ministry of Planning, Government of Bangladesh from 2003 to 2005. In 2004, they served as the Executive Director (Acting) at D.Net (Development Research Network). Following this, Chowdhury worked as an ICT-For-Development Consultant at UNDP Bangladesh in 2005. In 2007, they founded and became the CEO of ClickDiagnostics, Inc., a position they held until 2011. In the same year, Chowdhury founded mPower Social Enterprises Ltd., where they currently serve as the CEO and Founder.

Mridul Chowdhury completed their B.Sc. degree from The University of Texas at Austin, where they majored in Economics, Mathematics, and Political Science with a minor in Computer Science. This took place between 1995 and 2000. Later on, they pursued further education at Harvard Kennedy School from 2006 to 2008, where they obtained a Master's in Public Administration (MPA) with a focus on International Development and a specialization in Development Economics.
