David Finlay

David Finlay is an experienced professional with a diverse background in engineering and design. Currently serving as CEO and Founder of mpt.ag since May 2018, David focuses on innovative agricultural solutions related to soil management during seeding processes. David has also held long-term roles at Trang Imagineering since July 2003, where responsibilities include advising, R&D management, and engineering design in various sectors, such as mining and agriculture. Other notable positions include Director at RENWELD and Farmer at Wyly Park, which also functions as an R&D test facility for AgriTech innovations. David’s extensive software expertise spans Solid Edge, Solidworks, and AutoCAD, among others, and their education includes a Trade Certificate in Mechanical Engineering (Toolmaking) from TAFE NSW.
