Johan Sjöstrand

Johan Sjöstrand has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. In 2014, they started their career as a Customer Service representative at Baraspara AB, where they handled customer inquiries over phone and email. In 2016, they worked as a Kitchen Assistant at Gröna Lunds Tivoli, where they performed various tasks and eventually took on the responsibility of receiving orders and assigning work to the chefs.

In 2017, Johan joined Linköpings universitet as a Basgruppshandledare, where they supported and guided IT students in their problem-based learning process, as well as evaluating their performance. Concurrently, they undertook an internship at Flex, where they developed a web application in Angular, MongoDB, and NodeJS. The application collected sensor data and presented it effectively.

In 2019, Johan worked as a Software Engineer at Kry, contributing to the development of features for both patients and clinicians. Notably, they worked on integrating the eHM system for clinicians to create and send prescriptions. Johan also worked on improving a lightweight Radio Access Network (RAN) simulator at Ericsson during their Master's thesis. The simulator was built using Java and DESMO-J simulation framework, along with a JavaFX GUI.

Most recently, in 2021, Johan joined Mpya Digital as a Consultant, where they currently work.

Johan Sjöstrand has pursued a Civilingenjörsexamen in Informationsteknologi from Linköping University. Additionally, they have also acquired a Civilingenjörsexamen in International Software Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology. In terms of additional certifications, Johan has completed the "Free RabbitMQ Training Course" offered by CloudAMQP in January 2023.
