Esther Chege

Esther Chege has been working in the finance field since 2015. Esther started their career at Cytonn Investments Management Plc, where they served as a Senior Finance Analyst and Finance Analyst. During their time at Cytonn, they were responsible for reviewing payment vouchers and journal entries, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, assisting in the external audit process, training interns, preparing weekly budget variance reports and presentations, preparing consolidated monthly management accounts and annual financial statements, assisting in policy formulation and updating, preparing schedules for all accounts in the general ledgers, managing related party transactions, preparing weekly cash flow reports, preparing costing models, assisting in the preparation of Board Schedules for quarterly Board Meetings, being a member of the SAP Project Implementation Team, tracking changes in financial regulations and legislation, and doing monthly payroll reconciliations and monthly filing of PAYE and FBT. In 2019, Esther Chege moved to Mr. Green Trading Africa Kenya Ltd., where they currently serve as the Finance Manager & Controller.

Esther Chege received their Bachelor's Degree in Economics & Statistics from the University of Nairobi in 2015. From 2010 to 2011, they attended Strathmore University to pursue their CPA. In 2018, they began their CFA Level I in Financial Analysis from the CFA Institute.
