Alejandro Roca Arroyo

Alejandro Roca Arroyo is a seasoned DevOps professional currently serving as a Senior DevOps Engineer at Mr & Mrs Smith since November 2023. Previously, Alejandro held roles as an SRE/DevOps Engineer at Fever and as a DevOps Engineer at BYHOURS, where responsibilities included migrating VM-based applications to Kubernetes and achieving significant cloud cost optimizations. Alejandro also worked as an ML/AI Engineer at HI Iberia Ingeniería y Proyectos, focusing on the application of DevOps principles in AI projects. Earlier experience includes a teaching role at Centro de Extensión Educativa y Formativa, where Alejandro taught English to diverse age groups. Alejandro holds a Master’s degree in Bioinformatics from Aarhus University and a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, complemented by an Erasmus program at the University of Zagreb.
