Suren Roopnarian

Suren Roopnarian has extensive experience in risk management and internal auditing, currently serving as the Group Risk Director and Chief Audit Executive at Mr Price Group since April 2018. Prior to this role, Suren was the Head of Internal Audit at Builders Warehouse, Express, Trade Depot, and Superstore from June 2015 to March 2018. Suren also held the position of Head of Internal Audit at Massdiscounters, overseeing operations for Game and Dionwired from June 2002 to March 2018, and served as Senior Manager/Director for Massmart and Walmart during the same period. Additionally, Suren was the Head of Internal Audit at Masscash Holdings (Pty) Ltd from June 2002 to July 2015 and began the career as a Senior Manager at Arthur Andersen & Co. from January 1997 to May 2002.
