Sara Pierce

Sara Pierce serves as the Veterans Service Commissioner at Greene County Veterans Service Office since May 2024 and is the Vice Commander at AMVETS National Headquarters – Alumni since September 2023. With a diverse background at AMVETS, including roles such as Commander and 3rd Vice Commander from July 2017 to July 2023, Sara has contributed significantly to various community service programs supporting veterans. Prior experience includes leadership roles from 1999 to 2012 within AMVETS and operational management as Canteen Manager at AMVETS Post 14 and Nick's Restaurant. Sara holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Services from Antioch University Midwest and an Associate degree in Business from ITT Technical Institute.
