Dean Carpenter

Dean Carpenter, FIML has extensive work experience in talent management, human resources, and organizational development. Dean currently holds the position of Vice President, Global Talent Practices at MRI Software since 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President, APAC Operations + Talent Management at MRI Software from 2020 to the present. Before joining MRI Software, Dean was the Head of People at Rockend from 2017 to 2019, where they were responsible for strategic human resource initiatives and leading the People team. Dean also held various roles at Rockend, including Client Services Manager and Human Resources Manager. Earlier in their career, Dean worked at LEAP Group of Companies as a Talent Manager and Training & Documentation Coordinator. Their responsibilities at LEAP included HR program development, learning & development, and recruitment. Dean began their career at Church & Grace Solicitors and Attorneys as an Accounts Clerk, where they gained experience in accounting, IT support, and HR projects. Dean also worked at Sydney SuperDome as a Staff Services Manager and Staff Services Officer, overseeing payroll, rostering, and recruitment for over 1000 employees. Overall, Dean Carpenter has a strong background in talent management and HR, with a focus on driving organizational growth and development.

Dean Carpenter, FIML completed a Bachelor of Business degree specializing in Human Resource Management & Industrial Relations at Western Sydney University. In addition, Dean obtained certifications in Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging from LinkedIn in 2021, Hogan 360 from Peter Berry Consultancy in 2014, and Hogan Assessments Certified (HPI, HDS, MVPI) from Hogan Assessment Systems in 2012.
