Rendy Primartantyo has extensive work experience in various roles related to commercial and retail, media planning, marketing, business development, and research. Rendy currently serves as the Head of Commercial & Retail Division at PT. MRT Jakarta since 2019. Prior to that, they worked as the Media Planning Group Head at MediaCom from 2013 to 2019. Rendy also held the position of Marketing & Business Development Manager at Sodexo Motivation Solutions Indonesia from 2009 to 2013 and as a Media Planning Group Head at MindShare (WPP) from 2009 to 2009. Furthermore, they worked at PT. Cakrawala Andalas Televisi (ANTV) as the Network Promo and Presentation Planning for Asia Global Media (JV of STAR TV & ANTV) from 2006 to 2008. Rendy's early career included a role as a Senior Media Planner at Initiative from 2004 to 2006 and a Research Executive at NFO Worldwide, part of Interpublic Group (IPG), from 2002 to 2004.
Rendy Primartantyo's education history starts in 1995 when they attended SMUN 68. It is unclear what degree they obtained during this period, but their field of study was in IPA. In 1998, they enrolled at the University of Indonesia where they pursued a Bachelor of Economics degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Rendy completed this program in 2002.
Returning to education after a gap, Rendy Primartantyo pursued a Magister Management degree at Universitas Prasetiya Mulya from 2010 to 2012, specializing in Strategic studies.
In 2020, Rendy Primartantyo participated in a short-term program at Kellogg Executive Education, where they obtained a certificate in Digital Marketing Strategies.
Additionally, Rendy Primartantyo obtained two additional certifications in 2020. These certifications were "Edge Academy Certified: Data-Driven Planning" and "Edge Academy Certified: Marketing Foundations" obtained from The Trade Desk institution.
