Angela Kitchens

Angela Kitchens serves as the Director of CTE Compliance Audits and Budget Officer at the Mississippi Department of Education since September 2022. Previously, Angela held several positions within the Mississippi Department of Education, including Staff Officer III and Student Services Supervisor. Angela's career began in education with roles focusing on student services and business program supervision. In addition to experience in education, Angela worked as a Realtor from January 2009 to November 2011. Angela holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and Entrepreneurship from Jackson State University and a Master's degree in Public Administration from Texas Southern University. Currently, Angela is pursuing further education at Jackson State University.
