Donna Boone

Donna Boone is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Chief Academic Officer for the Mississippi Department of Education since March 2023. Previously, Donna held the position of Superintendent at Forrest County Agricultural High School from July 2017 to March 2023 and at Quitman School District from September 2015 to July 2017. Earlier roles include serving as School Improvement Specialist at Bailey Education Group, LLC and Project Manager for America's Choice, where Donna managed Mississippi contracts and provided leadership training. Additionally, Donna worked as Assistant Superintendent for the Paulding County School District, overseeing curricular areas and professional development for over 20,000 students. Donna's educational qualifications include a PhD in Educational Administration and Supervision from The University of Southern Mississippi, a Master's degree in Elementary Education from Mississippi College, and a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies from the University of Central Florida.
