Derek Koller

Derek Koller is an experienced Engineering Manager at MS Directional, leading a team of technical engineers in managing projects across various product lines, including Downhole Motors and MWD tools. Since February 2018, Derek has been instrumental in driving growth and fostering inter-departmental collaboration to enhance solution efficiency. Previously, Derek served as the Sr. Engineer for Downhole Motors, focusing on new product development and continuous improvement. Derek's career includes a role as a Design Engineer at Caterpillar Inc., specializing in large engine components, and participation in an Engineering Rotational Development Program. Additional experience encompasses engineering internships with Ford Motor Company, TG Missouri, Leggett & Platt, and Mississippi Lime Company. Derek holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
