Caitlin Astbury

Caitlin Astbury is an experienced communications and research professional specializing in the healthcare and charity sectors. Currently serving as the Research Communications Manager at MS Society since October 2023, Caitlin previously held multiple roles at Cancer Research UK, including Research Information Manager and Research Engagement Manager (Maternity Cover), where responsibilities involved collaborating with researchers to enhance donor engagement in cancer research. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Communications Officer at MS Society, where effective communication strategies were developed for stakeholders affected by multiple sclerosis, as well as a Fundraising Assistant and Biology Week Intern at the Royal Society of Biology. Caitlin's early career involved tutoring primary school students to support literacy and numeracy skills through The Tutor Trust. Educational credentials include an MSc in Science Communication and a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences, both from The University of Manchester.
