Barry O'Rourke

Barry O'Rourke is an experienced operations leader with a strong background in manufacturing and project management. Currently serving as the General Manager at MSA - The Safety Company since March 2020, Barry oversees daily operations at the Ireland manufacturing plant, focusing on production, supply chain, engineering, quality, and EHS while leading significant initiatives such as technology transfers and facility re-layouts. Previously, Barry held the position of Director of Operations at Etalim Inc., where groundbreaking green technology components were developed, and served as Director of Operations - UK at Endurance Wind Power with a focus on wind turbine manufacturing. Barry's extensive career also includes various engineering and managerial roles at Endurance Wind Power and Stonehall Engineering Co. Ltd. Barry holds a Master of Science in Renewable Energy Systems Technology from Loughborough University and a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering from the University of Limerick.
