Daniela Picco serves as the Executive Director of the MSC Foundation since May 2019, overseeing administrative functions and implementing programmes focused on marine conservation, community support, education, and emergency relief. Previously, Daniela held the role of Head of Strategic Partnerships at MSC Cruises from September 2011 to May 2019, where responsibilities included improving global partnerships and driving multi-stakeholder initiatives that enhanced market growth and brand reputation. Daniela's career in marketing began as Marketing Director at Festival Crociere from March 1999 to March 2004 and included positions such as Head of On Board Marketing and Chief Marketing Officer at MSC CROCIERE S.A. Ginevra. Educational qualifications include a Masterclass in Philanthropy and a DAS in Corporate Social Responsibility from the University of Geneva, alongside a Master in Communication from Università Ca' Foscari Venezia and a Master’s degree in Political Science from Università degli Studi di Genova.
