Rupi Bhamra

Rupi Bhamra serves as Managing Director at MSCI Inc. since March 2020, overseeing key technology areas including Sales, Marketing, HR, Finance, and the internal Data team, while driving technology transformation within the organization. Prior to this role, Rupi held the position of Executive Director at MSCI, where the establishment of the OneMSCI API Initiative occurred, gaining support and funding for the first central API engineering team. Rupi's experience also includes serving as Executive Director and Global Head of Private Credit & Equity Platforms at Morgan Stanley from August 2012 to February 2020, where a successful program was led to streamline a $15B portfolio management platform. Rupi's earlier career included a Delivery Manager role at Vanguard Group, where leadership of front-office delivery teams for significant programs and the implementation of a global investment management trading platform was realized. Rupi Bhamra holds an MBA in Management Information Systems from Drexel University's LeBow College of Business and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.
