Andreas Kyburz

Andreas Kyburz is an experienced professional in the field of medical affairs, currently serving as the Medical Affairs Lead Oncology at MSD Switzerland since March 2018. Andreas has held several roles including Stretch Assignment with the Mid Europe Region Medical Affairs Team, Medical Advisor Oncology, and Medical Science Liaison Oncology. Prior to this, Andreas worked with the Life Science Zurich Young Scientist Network as Project Leader for Company Visits, and was a PhD student at the University of Zurich specializing in Translational Experimental Immunology. Earlier experiences include a research internship at Roche focused on drug targets for dyslipidemia and diabetes, a consulting internship at IMS Health involved in healthcare market research, and private teaching in the sciences. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Biotechnology from ETH Zürich, a PhD in Immunology from the University of Zurich, and a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from ETH Zürich, as well as a Matura in Biology and Chemistry from Kantonsschule Luzern.
