Jessica Leggett

Jessica Leggett is a Principal on the Real Estate team. She brings over 20 years of experience in principal investing, managing institutional capital and scaling organizations. Prior to joining MSD in 2020, she was the CEO & Founder of Seven + Gold, a private family office making impact investments across industries. Prior to that, she was a Co-Founder & CFO of Vantage Properties, a vertically integrated NYC-based real estate private equity investing and operating firm. Jessica worked in similar capacities with the Olnick family office and at Lehman Brothers in their Real Estate Private Equity and Investment Banking Groups.

Jessica grew up in Texas and graduated from the Business Honors Program at The University of Texas at Austin with a B.B.A. in Finance. As a proud Texan, after living for many years in New York City and San Francisco, she returned to Texas in 2018 and now lives in Austin with her husband and two children where they can be found hiking, boating or generally enjoying the outdoors virtually year-round. She currently serves on the Board of Mission Asset Fund, a non-profit organization expanding financial access for low-income communities; serves on the Board of Friends of the Children – Austin, a non-profit organization with the mission of breaking the cycle of generational poverty; and is actively engaged in many industry organizations including ULI and the UT Real Estate Center.
