John Bailey

John Bailey is Senior Corporate Counsel for MSD. Prior to joining MSD in 2022, he was an Associate at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, where he worked in the Corporate and Restructuring & Finance groups.

John received a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a B.A. from Columbia University, where he was a three-time All-Ivy Team selection on the varsity swim team and was elected team captain. Prior to law school, he received a Fulbright Scholarship and studied international relations at King’s College, Cambridge. In his spare time, John can be found with his wife, son and Boxer, and enjoys boating, working out and cheering on the Cleveland Indians/Guardians.
